National AmeriCorps Week Finale Rally
Volunteers will be restoring the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park in partnership with the City of Miami. National Service members and other will be planting 1,000 trees and 25,000 sea oats in Virginia Key Beach Park on Sunday.
SUNDAY: AmeriCorps Service Fair to be held at the beautiful Bayfront Park (301 N. Biscayne Boulevard) in Downtown Miami.
12:30-3pm
SusieQ will be co-creating a painting with the membership to commemorate this event. It will be presented to the City of Miami around 3pm. Feel free to come by and watch.

Broward County's 6TH ANNUAL Water Matters Day
Tree Tops Park
2900 S.W. 100th Ave. in Davie
Members of the Davie Utility Department will be there to provide information about water conservation and protecting groundwater resources. This year is especially significant as we remain under modified Phase III water restrictions.
Water Matters Day will focus on water conservation, protecting water quality, and landscaping with native species. Although the event is free, admission to the park is $1.50 per person and free for children five and under. The event will showcase educational exhibits presented by governmental entities, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.
Water Matters Day will feature face painting, craft workshops, a rain barrel workshop, a raffle, a variety of giveaways, and the music of environmental folk-singer Grant Livingston, and environmental event artist SusieQ.
